Talking Tiger

Children from a kindergarden class sent in the tigers that they painted in their art class. Our job was to animate the tigers they created.

This project was interesting and fun, but tedious.

We started with the painting:



Then we created the mouth shapes for each group of vowels. For example, the first one below is the "a, i" sound.


 

 








                                                             

                 
                                                             













After making the above images in Adobe Photoshop, I made a .gif file just to see how the vowel sounds look like:


We took the jpegs and uploaded them to Adobe Flash, where we animated them and made them into a movie (.avi).

Here is the final result:
